Interactive restaurant menus

A menu guests actually want to open. I design and build interactive digital menus that open straight in the phone's browser, with no app to download.

Guests browse the dishes, add what they want to a tray and send the order to the restaurant on WhatsApp. Each menu is built in the restaurant's own brand, with a few playful touches, like mini-games or the owner's voice, that make the place memorable.

Deliverables

What a menu can include

Each menu is built around the restaurant, so the features change from one to the next. These are all in the menus above.

  • Opens from a link

A small, fast website rather than an app or a PDF. Share the link anywhere, or put it on a QR code.

  • Arabic & English

A language switch that flips the whole menu, as in Boo Burger and Birdy Fam.

  • Browse & search

Categories, dish details and search, so guests find what they want quickly.

  • Order on WhatsApp

Guests build a tray and send the order to the restaurant's WhatsApp, for dine-in or delivery.

  • Your brand, not a template

The restaurant's colours, type, characters and photography, designed from scratch.

  • Playful extras

Mini-games, a 3D burger builder, the owner's voice message or a currency switch, chosen to fit the place.

Arabic and English, designed together

Menus can switch between Arabic and English with one tap, so every guest reads the menu in the language they're most comfortable with.

Process

How a menu is made

  1. 01

    The menu & the brand

Your dishes, prices, photos and how orders work today: dine-in, delivery or both.

  2. 02

    The concept

One idea the menu is built around, like Birdy Fam's hatching egg or the Balcony Burgers street scene.

  3. 03

    Design & build

The menu designed and built as a working prototype you can tap through on your own phone.

  4. 04

    Test on real phones

Checked on iPhone and Android in both languages, from opening the menu to sending an order.

  5. 05

    Go live

The finished menu at its own link, ready to share and put on the tables.

FAQ

Questions clients ask

Do guests need to download an app?

No. The menu opens in the phone's browser from a link or QR code, like any website.

How do orders reach the restaurant?

Guests add dishes to a tray and tap to send. The order opens as a ready-written WhatsApp message to the restaurant's number, listing everything they chose.

Can the menu be in Arabic and English?

Yes. Boo Burger and Birdy Fam switch the whole menu between English and Arabic with one tap.

Will it look like our brand?

Yes. Each menu is designed from scratch in the restaurant's own colours, typefaces and characters. None of them is a template.
